NCIETME-2026 is a national-level hybrid conference organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Excel Engineering College (Autonomous), Komarapalayam, to provide a platform for students, research scholars, faculty members, academicians and industry professionals to present innovative ideas, project outcomes and emerging research in mechanical engineering and allied disciplines. The conference focuses on sustainable engineering, advanced manufacturing, smart technologies, electric mobility, materials, thermal systems, automation, artificial intelligence, digital engineering and other contemporary areas. The event also promotes interaction between academia and industry through technical presentations, invited expert lectures, knowledge exchange and networking.

The hackathon will be conducted in Two Phases: a short-listing round and the physical 8-hour Hackathon round.
