SYMCOSCI'26 – Fest Description

SYMCOSCI'26 is a National Level Technical Symposium organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Muthayammal Engineering College (Autonomous), Rasipuram, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, in association with the Computer Society of India (CSI).

The symposium provides a platform for students from various engineering institutions to demonstrate their technical knowledge, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving abilities. Participants can compete in exciting technical events, interact with students from different colleges, showcase their talents, and gain exposure to emerging technologies.

The event encourages innovation, teamwork, communication, and practical application of computer science concepts while promoting professional networking and learning.

About Event

For five remarkable seasons, the Electric Bike Design Challenge (EBDC) has driven innovation, creativity, and sustainable mobility through cutting-edge engineering and futuristic EV technologies. Now, with the launch of EBDC 6.0, SRIT and Mechatron Motors continue this legacy by empowering young engineers to transform bold ideas into impactful real-world solutions. More than a competition, EBDC is a platform for innovators, a launchpad for future engineers, and a movement accelerating the future of smart and sustainable transportation.

The E-Mobility HackFest is a high-energy innovation challenge conducted as part of the Global EV Summit & Innovation Conclave 2026. The event aims to bring together students, innovators, researchers, and technology enthusiasts to develop creative and practical solutions for the future of electric mobility. The hackathon provides a collaborative platform to transform innovative ideas into working prototypes, software solutions, simulation models, or smart engineering concepts.

Events

Round 1 – Prelims Online PPT Submission

Participants must submit their preliminary presentation online on or before 08-09-2026.

Round 2 – Result Announcement of Shortlisted Teams

The shortlisted teams will be officially announced on 15-09-2026 based on the submitted PPT evaluation.

Round 3 – Prototype / Product Development Round

Selected teams must complete their prototype or product development before 23-09-2026.

Round 4 & Round 5 – Technical Evaluation, Grand Finale, Demo & Pitching

About Event

Students as a team ( maximum 6 members) will design their vehicle based on the specification and fabricate the bikes as per the guidelines provided in the rule book and the same will be demonstrated in the event.
